MPEGIF News Digest, weeks 46-50 

Dear MPEGIF news Readers

Although the end of 2004 is nearing, there has been no slow down in news
coming in about MPEG-4 and MPEG-4 AVC. From next generation chips to HD
demonstrations and new phones and camcorders to gaming consoles there is a
nice spectrum of visible market activity.

Let us give you a quick update on one of our most important activities: We
recently posted a  <http://www.mpegif.org/public/interop/round6.php> Summary
of 6th Interoperability Test Round to the website. 27 companies participated
in AVC and AAC testing. 

In addition, we are very pleased to confirm that two new members joined
MPEGIF since our last news digest:  <http://www.adtecinc.com/> Adtec Digital
and  <http://www.mcubeworks.com/technology/e_codec_video.asp> mcubeworks.
