With our last digest of 2004 we would like to extend our special thanks to
you for your continuous support of and interest in our industry. 

This year has been very exciting, especially for MPEG-4 AVC, with a vast
number of opportunities emerging, products becoming available and services
launching. It will not stop there, but become even bigger. 2005 promises to
be very special, so let us all look forward to that.

MPEGIF will certainly continue its mission with a focus on the promotion of
MPEG-4 AVC and has a number of interesting activities coming - for example
