For those who do not know, libglade allows the creation of a GTK window and its controls from an xml file. It is the exact opposite of code bloat... I have certainly considered using it for the non-configuration related windows, but I am not there yet (and there are problems with using it for this project). BTW, I use GLADE (the application, not the library) to design all windows. I do not have enough time to waste it laying out controls manually.
