Hi, I am having problems with a cinergyT2 DVB-T card. The device is a USB2 based 'budget' card (i.e., no hw decoder, no tv-out), so it's just a dvb-t receiver. The driver is quite new but seems to work well using scan/tzap. xine also works, although not too stable (sigh); however, that seems to be a xine problem. The driver does its job. MPlayer won't work, however. Well, not using dvb://, at least. Using "tzap -r" and running "mplayer /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0" works. But not the 'native' support. Whatever I do, it says something about tuning to the frequency and then it's just waiting. The console shows repeated 'polling...' messages. I have not been able to get it to run with dvbstream, either (afaik the mplayer code is based on dvbstream). I noticed however that dvbstream seems to be more or less dead for about 2 years now; is there a possibility that the DVBAPI changed slightly so dvbstream and MPlayer do not work anymore? MPlayer versions I tried are 1.0pre5try2 and cvs-20041223. If someone is interested in looking into this, I can provide logs and try out patches. I am reasonably adept at C/C++, but I have to admit I have virtually no knowledge about multimedia programming. Regards, Robert
