That is not an entirely accurate description :)
It’s rather that mem_internal.h was never installed and available
for external users like MPlayer.
If you grab a copy of the file or compile against MPlayer’s own
FFmpeg copy it works.
Otherwise I have a patch on the dev list
"Fix dependencies on libavutil/mem_internal.h”
I’d appreciate someone testing.
Patch is on a different computer or I’d attach it to the ticket...
