No errors, so I guess it is working.
Need to check alsamixer or so?
And the right device etc, etc.
ffplay uses sdl I think, you can use -ao sdl in MPlayer as well (if it was compiled in).

Not working.  I have successfully updated to latest via svn.  Now compilation succeeds, but no sound.
