adding scsi_set_speed support to ogle

sorry if the title of this message is a bit less than perfect

what i am wondering is if there is any way (with current ogle sources)
to set the speed of the dvd as a way of reducing noise from the drive

cdrecord (from cdrtools) has a mechanism for doing such a thing

i know i'm being really lazy here by asking and not applying the "use 
the source, luke" rule
a very quick glance has thrown up nothing obvious

i've build a machine with a fanless power supply, an epia-M9000 m/b and 
a quit
hard disk (Seagate Barracuda 7200.7, 25db)

the main noise is now coming from the DVD (a NEC ND1100-A)
