DVD-Audio ======= While pure DVD-As will not play on standard DVD players, most releases (including all the titles produced by Warner, Atlantic, and Elektra) contain a Dolby Digital surround-sound mix, making them playable on any DVD player. SACD === Super Audio CDs (SACDs) offer some of the highest-fidelity listening available today. Most SACDs have been remastered to feature at least five channels of surround sound. While some SACDs are hybrids (playable on any standard CD player), to experience the full impact of these discs, you'll need a proper SACD playback system. So DVD-Audio should be possible as long as we know the format. While SACD act as normal cds if they're hybrid, still useless if you're interessted in thebest possible sound. Although I saw some reports that some dvd rom players actually are able to access the non-hybrid content. Since these two are primarly used for audio and video is sort of extra, I'm mostly interested in the ability of playing the audio.
