SACD I think is even harder, because of the different hardware requirements. Both cd-reader and d/a-converter. We could ofcourse convert from the "1-bit" format but you would still need a pretty good DAC in your amplifier to get better quality. There are no amplifiers with built in SACD decoder right? The same for DVD-A I think also, only analog out on DVD-A players. Is it common for receivers/amplifiers to handle 24-bit/96-192kHz LPCM audio in spdif? /Björn
