I did all of that, and then put a DVD in the drive. Ogle loaded up, a
display window to play the movie opened, showed a black screen, and then the
entire program closed. This all took about 1 or 2 seconds.
I then tried manually openening Ogle and selecting File>Play Disc ... this
time the display window didn't even open before the entire program closed.
I tried mounting the DVD-ROM drive myself, and then opening Ogle and
selecting File>Play Disc, and the program closed again.

I even tried to poke around in the Edit>Preferences file, but when I click
that menu, nothing happens.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Rachel Jordan
