ogle --debug gives me this output:
Debug[ogle_audio]: decode_a52: found sync
Debug[ogle_audio]: Searching <speakers> for:
Debug[ogle_audio]: 'Left' 'Right' 'Center' 'LeftSurround'
'RightSurround' 'LFE'
Debug[ogle_audio]: or for:
Debug[ogle_audio]: 'AC3'
Debug[ogle_audio]: <channel_config>
Debug[ogle_audio]: <chtype>Left</chtype>
Debug[ogle_audio]: <chtype>Right</chtype>
Debug[ogle_audio]: </channel_config>
Debug[ogle_audio]: Didn't find matching channel_config, using the last
one
Note[ogle_audio]: Using audio driver 'oss'
Debug[ogle_audio]: channels 2, encoding 1, resolution 16
Debug[ogle_audio]: byte order 1, rate 48000
Debug[ogle_audio]: fragments 16, size 4096
Debug[ogle_audio]: 2 channels decoded: Left Right
My oglerc looks thus:
<audio>
<device>
<driver>oss</driver>
<path>/dev/dsp</path>
</device>
<speakers>
<channel_config>
<chtype>Left</chtype>
<chtype>Right</chtype>
</channel_config>
</speakers>
