Audio Problem [SNDCTL_DSP_GETCHANNELMASK: Invalid argument]

Hi people! Ogle is a great software and I've used it
with no problems in a desktop computer of mine.

Recently, I installed linux in my notebook, Toshiba
2805-S301, but I'm having audio problems with it. The
audio device is working with alsa (slackware 9.1)
properly with xmms and other softwares. It is reported
by lspci as
