This version was built without mmx support. This is a bad idea.
It could be that this triggers a bug somewhere.
Maybe the configure script needs to be modified if it doesn't turn
on mmx support when compiled on athlon.
Could you try a precompiled rpm version of ogle and see if it still
crashes.

I have no idea why ogle_vout dies with signal 13 (sigpipe?).
It could perhaps have something to do with not being compiled
with mmx support or something completely different.
