Using SuSE 8.2, following a kernel upgrade to deal with usb problems, I found lots of new ones. One was that ogle .8-something now died with a can't open it's OSS drivers message. All the stuff on the web said this was because there was some other audio thing going. Not in my case. I thought, aha, perhaps they've solved this one in a later version. Found an rpm that SuSE would accept (complied the previous version) and of libdvdread. Same problem. Aha, I thought, let's compile the newest version, the compiler might sort things out. Unfortunately... I can tell ogle ./configure --with-libmad=/usr/lib until my fingers whither at the keyboard and fall off, but it won't believe that libmad.so.0 is actually in /usr/lib. It keeps telling me "configure: error: Need libmad, install it or specify it's location." Any suggestions? Oliver
