Summary: Console should accept keystrokes

Details: My multimedia box is headless except for a projector.  

I run ogle from a shell, but do not have a mouse or keyboard on the "output" display.  It would be just great if the shell where I ran ogle could accept the shortcut keystrokes, a la mplayer.
