Yeah, this is a problem with the graphic card driver. Particulary sometjing to do with Xvideo (Xv). Changing the resolution, refresh rate and/or color depth are things that are known work around (for some cards/drivers). However as this is a laptop you might not be able to change the resolution or refresh rate. You could give the color deoth thing a try perhaps. A newer version of XFree86 (or Xorg) or just the i815 driver might fix it for you. Though if you are hesitant to even change your config file, I can't really recomend trying those things either. Other things to try Moving and/or resizing the video window. Ctrl-Atl-[+-] to change resolution while playing, if possible. -- HÃ¥kan Hjort
