See 'man oglerc' for some information on changing the latter. > Here is the --check output: > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Build: Linux 2.4.20 #1 Mon Jan 20 13:47:56 GMT-3 2003 i686 unknown Thu > Mar 13 00:13:43 GMT-3 2003 mmx Xv oss > Runtime: Linux 2.4.26 #6 Mon Jun 14 19:07:27 PDT 2004 i686 unknown > cpuinfo: > processor : 0, vendor_id : GenuineIntel, cpu family : 6, model : 8, > model name : Pentium III (Coppermine), stepping : 6, cpu MHz : 148.655, Are you running you 700MHz P3 at 150MHz ? Perhaps something when wrong when you booted once and the BIOS has put you at the low to be 'safe'. Since a machine at 150MHz will have trouble keeping up with the decoding of a DVD movie that would explain all the frame drops. This would probably also cause the audio problem as it is struggling to decode the movie. /HÃ¥kan
