Hi !
Since a short time I've a problem on my Fedora Core 3 box.
I'm unable to play any DVD, being it on disk or on a DVD.
My system has 2 sounf cards : a VIA AC97 in my Motherboard's chipset
wirred to the speakers in my screen, and a Sound Blaster PCI16 card
wired to the stereo HIFI amp I own.
Since my FC3 upgrade, month ago, the VIA is known as DSP1 and the SB as
DSP0... Go figure....
At that time I made a change, I don't remebber, to have Ogle play to the
Via sound card.
Since last monday, I have this when I try to open any DVD :
#ogle

FATAL[ogle_audio]: failed opening the oss audio driver at /dev/dsp1

I've deleted the root's .ogle and .oglerc, but to no avail. So I checked
/usr/share/ogle/oglerc to find this :
?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE ogle_conf SYSTEM "/usr/share/ogle/ogle_conf.dtd">
<!-- This is the configuration file for ogle. (man oglerc(5)) -->
<ogle_conf>
<dvd>

<DefaultAudioLanguage>en</DefaultAudioLanguage>
<DefaultSubtitleLanguage>en</DefaultSubtitleLanguage>
<ParentalCountry>US</ParentalCountry>
<ParentalLevel>15</ParentalLevel>
<PlayerRegion>1</PlayerRegion>
</defaults>
</nav>
<device>

</device>
</dvd>
<audio>
<device>
<driver>alsa</driver>
<path>/dev/dsp1</path>
<alsa>
<name>default</name>
</alsa>
</device>
So what about OSS ? What may be wrong in my box ? How could I change
things to make them work again ?
All help will be greatly appreciated !
TIA.
