Message dates (was: RE: PicoGui and Cygwin)

This msg is from July 14 and was held back for moderator approval because my
mail-address was misconfigured on lists.sourceforge.net at that time.

I think when messages reach the list with a delay like this, the original
date/time headers should be preserved so that the delay is visible to the
readers. Is that possible?
