I have Webcam that is autoconfigured as /dev/video0 and TV card /dev/video1 > tvtime -d=/dev/video1 produces: Running tvtime 1.0.2. Reading configuration from /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml Reading configuration from /home/markgo/.tvtime/tvtime.xml videoinput: Cannot open capture device =/dev/video1: No such file or directory > ls -l /dev/video1 crw-rw----+ 1 root video 81, 1 Nov 29 19:56 /dev/video1 fuser /dev/video1 does not indicate any user. After I removed WebCam tvtime worked OK with default device.
