And maybe capture to MCF too. Which is exactly what I want to do. Yup !! | But it's a bad news too. | I don't know if VDubMod is already popular or not, but I assume it will be | pretty soon. And it should advise users that when they use the MCF feature, it's | experimental and will surely *not* play in MCF players when the format will be | ready. I don't want people to be frustrated because they created MCF that wasn't | really MCF. So I suggest it is only available when the user acknowledge this | information, or something similar. Is it possible ? Dont worry Steve, Suiryc opened another dev branch on CVS for this mod, there will be no MCF support in the released version of VirtualDubMod until MCF-1 specs are final and libmcf updated. Leave the code in the CVS ( for devs that can compile themselves its ok with me ), but dont give the binaries to users, by no means !! There will be huge changes in libmcf itself, so even if we can create tools with current libmcf as the API wont change much, the files created with this libmcf will be completely incompatible to MCF-1 spec files !! We can think of giving it to a limited number of alpha testers though, to test it." To my knowledge he even didnt upload the sourcecode for this mod to CVS yet, but even if he does only devs will be able to compile themselfes and use it, and they could do the same with mpa2mcf.exe and start spreading ( wrong ) MCF files, and nobody has done so far ( devs know its no good thing to do ).
