Hello VLC Team,

I hope all of you are doing well and amazing.

I am Basil, and I'm really looking forward to rustify VLC with the team,
and particularly interested in developing bindings and modules in Rust.

I am looking to submit a patch to demonstrate my skills; and I have already
compiled VLC.

At the moment, I have created an account on gitlab but it seems to be
needing approval; the account has the same email address as this one, and I
would greatly appreciate it if approved.
