Hi, i think you MUST quote the transcoding chain :
cvlc http://an.internet.audio.stream 
--sout='#transcode{acodec=vorb,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:std{access=file,mux=ogg,dst=/path/to/file.ogg}'
