problem with VLS

Hi,
    I've been trying to get VLS to broadcast a stream properly, but have 
had no luck so far.. i keep getting the following error displayed on the 
console:

    this happens when i try and broadcast a plain MPEG file.

            any ideas? i'm eager to get this working.
