Yes, I'm running 2.4.18 of the kernel. I just checked on the margi driver - it's not there. Check if you have a "margi" driver in your /lib/modules/2.4.18. It is in /lib/modules/2.4.18/kernel/drivers/video/margi (if I remember correctly). This will conflict with the drivers from linuxtv.org (Dvb-0.9.4) because of a naming conflict. What actually happens is that drivers for DVB-S reception are loaded from the margi directory instead of your DVB-0.9.4 driver. But because the margi is a PCMCIA video camera card it is of course not detected and bails out. Taking all other loaded DVB drivers with it. > Graeme > -- Kind greetings, Jean-Paul Saman Software Architect e-mail (work): [email protected] phone (work): 040 27 42909 ------------------------------------------------------------ Ordina TA, Science Park Eindhoven 5602, Postbus 293, 5600 AG Eindhoven e-mail : [email protected] phone : 040 2601200 fax : 040 2601199 -- This is the vls-devel mailing-list, see http://www.videolan.org/vls-devel/ To unsubscribe, please read http://www.videolan.org/lists.html If you are in trouble, please contact <[email protected]> -- This is the vls-devel mailing-list, see http://www.videolan.org/vls-devel/ To unsubscribe, please read http://www.videolan.org/lists.html If you are in trouble, please contact <[email protected]>
