[streaming] flash video broadcast

Hi,
someone can tell me if I can make .flv broadcast with VLC?
I mean, not ondemand streaming, but a really broadcast.
I mean, when I run vlc bradcasting a flash video it starts and the video can be accessible for example at http://my_ip_address:port, when the video finishes i can't see it antmore.
Can I make this with vlan? Please, how can i make this?
I know how schedule a broadcast but I can't with flv.
Please help me! :)
