Hi,
I'm trying to setup something that would allow me to stream a number of WMV
streams (e.g. mms://livemedia.omroep.nl/vprogeschiedenis-bb) into MythTV
using its network recorder so I can schedule recordings on those streams.
What I thought would work would be:
new channel2 vod
setup channel2 input mms://livemedia.omroep.nl/vprogeschiedenis-bb
setup channel2 output
#transcode{vcodec=mp4v,acodec=mpga}:standard{mux=ts,access=udp,url=192.168.1.1:1231,sap,name="/Geschiedenis"}
setup channel2 enabled
and use udp://192.168.1.1:1232 as input for the MythTV network recorder.
But it seems when starting VLC with this channel it is trying to read whole
of the stream first, whereas I would like the transcoding only to happen
when the actual stream is requested.
If someone could point out what I'm doing wrong, thanks.
Herman
