Hello, thanks for your reply. >> I hope gcc understands that "q" hack (eg "%1" -> "%edx" and >> "%q1" -> "%rdx"). > mhh, what patch do you mean? I see nothing attached to your mail, and > also nothing on the repository. That "q" hides inside my "MEMx" and "BUMPPTR" macros. I now tested gcc 4.7 64bit positive, so it should work in x32 too. Just saw that greedy2frame_template_sse2.c also used that hack before, so I worried for no reason I guess :-) > openscenegraph (http://www.openscenegraph.org/) O dear. That reminds me of old Amiga times when they advertised so-called "Raytracer" packages to those who had too much money for both hard and software... >> Unfortunately, all my installed kernels are fairly old, and never heard >> of that weird x32 thing. > heh. (also, you need to be running a x86-64 kernel of course) Got one of these but there are no x32 libs and headers. I only could set up a few gcc -S dry tun tests. Speaking of tests, It would be nice if someone could test the x32 _functionality_. Your initial patch did fix x32 _build_ but actually did not care about (and possibly broke) some other assembly parts.
