I used to have original KDE3, and its Kaffeine as binary package.
Now I am using KDE4 Kaffeine (in a private fork that still has a
libxine backend) for its very good TV frontend - although there is
no libxine configuration GUI. For now, I am not KDE fit enough to
write one myself, and I just clone the xine-ui file instead.
