Hi, I had been using xine-lib with kaffeine 0.8.5 on my Gentoo Linux Desktop, on KDE 3.5.8, until I upgraded xine-lib to 1.1.8. It suddenly became impossible to see Korean subtitles encoded with charset euc-kr(cp949), because all Korean characters were shown as lots of #'s: thus subtitle became totally unseeable. So I downgraded xine-lib to 1.1.7, then subtitles worked without any problem like before. Which difference does there exist between 1.1.7 and 1.1.8 with regard to the functionality of subtitle encoding? Is there anything I have to do to get it work also with 1.1.8? Lines below are my configurations: UnGraphic is a name of cp949-encoded bitmap font for Korean characters. $HOME/.xine/config: subtitles.separate.subtitle_size:very large subtitles.separate.font:UnGraphic subtitles.separate.font_freetype:UnGraphic subtitles.separate.src_encoding:cp949 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
