Given a copy of http://hg.debian.org/hg/xine-lib/xine-lib, this will tell
you:
  $ hg log -r xine-lib-1_1_7-release:xine-lib-1_1_8-release src/libspu*

You can try reverting those, most recent first, and rebuilding to see if that
helps; but it may be better to make use of "hg bisect", using the two tags
mentioned above as the initial "good" and "bad" changeset IDs.
