Build the plugin with debug info, install it, make sure that xine-lib is
installed with debug info, run "firefox -g". ^C then "thread apply all bt"
when it gets stuck (but we're probably not interested in any thread which
references neither xine-lib nor the plugin).

Knowing what formats are used in that file may also be helpful.
