You can use a externel ffmpeg lib, the xine internal is outdated and
there where much optimisations done there. Compile it
with --enable-pthreads to make it able to use use both cores and setup
xine to use it (set processing.ffmpeg_thread_count to 2).
And yes, one core is to slow for h.264 in full hd...

It's also a good time to update to 1.1.12.
