./xine: error while loading shared libraries

Hi

I have compiled from cvs and HG the xine-ui and xine-lib-1.2 , I  
didn't correct the config files. But in
last year i installed the xine and gxine and others... May be in last  
year I corrected some config files.

But I can't run the xine

goga@goga:/usr/local/bin$ ./xine
./xine: error while loading shared libraries: libxine.so.2: cannot  
open shared object file: No such file
or directory

/usr/local/lib$ ls

If I copy libxine.so.2.0.0  to /usr/lib then

My question

- why does xine look in /usr/lib, not in /usr/local/lib ? How can I  
correct this xine-behaviour ?
