unix parameters for payback delay and curve compression

Hello,

I just read the "XVid Options Explained" document from
http://roeder.goe.net/%7Ekoepi/xvid.shtml. Now I want to use the
options with mencoder. But it seems that the mencoder xvid options
have different namens then the ones in the windows gui. Can someone
tell me the command-line equivalents to the "curve compression" and
"payback delay" options?

Of course, a document explaining all the command-line parameters
would still be better. ;-)
