GMC in XviD 1.1.0-beta1

I've just compiled mencoder with XviD 1.1.0-beta1 and could not notice that
Global Motion Compensation is producing some terrible artifacts. In 1.0.3
everything is fine. Options are: 2 pass, bitrate=2400, me_quality=6,
trellis=yes, chroma_me=yes, vhq=4, qpel=yes, quant_type=h263, gmc=yes
(http://temp754.narod.ru/gmc-yes.avi) or gmc=no
(http://temp754.narod.ru/gmc-no.avi).

I'm sorry this post is so low on details.
