Hi, I don't think it will run with quicktime as it's a raw stream. However, the error is very strange and certainly not common - which makes me think if you're probably using XviD on a somewhat 'exotic' platform. So, do you experience this problem on a PC? Or have you compiled the sources for a different target? Which OS do you use and which compiler did you use to create your binary?
