a leak (maybe?)

Hi,

I thought the stack has leaks a few times before, and it turned out to
be my fault, but this one looks for real. It happens in this scenario (A
is my nist-sip based UA).

1. A sends an INVITE request to B.

2. B answers with 100 and 180.

3. B's Ethernet cable is pulled out so it can't send anything.

4. A sends CANCEL.

5. A's CANCEL transaction times out. I don't receive a transaction
timeout for the INVITE transaction.

I checked the transaction table 5 minutes after this call, the INVITE
transaction still exists in the transaction table. Longer expirements
indicated that it stays there forever.

Any ideas why this happens?

Hagai.
