Hi Rodrigo,

If by 'SIP redirect server' you mean a server that always responds with '302 Moved Temporarily', with a Contact containing the URI that the client should use - then no, not implemented out of the box.

BUT... it is really easy to make one. See the examples\redirect directory for a version of 'Shootme' that redirects all INVITEs

Regards,

Jeroen

Subject: [nist-sip] Does the NIST-SIP implement a SIP Redirect Server?

  Hi,

Does the last version of the NIST-SIP implement a SIP Redirect Server?

If no, why not and what can I do to substitute a SIP Redirect Server?

If yes, should it use a DNS?

If yes, should DNS and SIP Redirect Server be running in a same hardware?

              If yes, why?

  Thanks a lot.

  Rodrigo Pimenta Carvalho.
