Many guidelines are similar for mobile and desktop design, but their mobile interpretation is much more unforgiving. Jakob Nielsen's Alertbox for November 7: > http://www.useit.com/alertbox/mobile-ux-guidelines.html ---------------------------------- Usability Week 2011 conference * London: November 13-18 * Las Vegas: December 4-9 Full program: > http://www.nngroup.com/events DEADLINE to save £150 on London advance registration: * THIS FRIDAY, November 11 > http://www.nngroup.com/events/london/agenda.html ---------------------------------- DON NORMAN: "THE FUTURE IS HERE" *All* delegates at next week's London conference are welcome at Don Norman's keynote presentation next Wednesday: > http://www.nngroup.com/events/main_event.html You can hear Don's latest insights, even if you're not otherwise registered to attend any seminars Wednesday. So if you have a Thursday seminar, consider flying into London early. Or if you have a Tuesday seminar, stay a day longer and do some sightseeing before Don's talk. (I recommend the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition at the National Gallery.) The same is true at next month's Las Vegas conference: you can attend Don Norman's keynote no matter which days you register for.
