I disagree that this granularity is the purpose of a log analyser because I don't think it would be helpful and as has been noted it wouldn't be accurate. We haven't tracked all the processor extensions such as MMX, SSE and Altivec although they have probably had more relevance for client software than the current shift to x86 64-bit which is driven by the need to maintain 32-bit compatability rather than really exploit a 64-bit architecture which would require considerably more than a recompile. Furthermore, your previous assertion that web designers are somehow dependent upon Flash is inaccurate. I love Flash but the vast majority of websites make no use of it. Furthermore, Flash is a closed box so whether users have 64-bit or 32-bit clients is of much less relevance than which version of Flash they support. -- Charlie Clark Helmholtzstr. 20 Düsseldorf D- 40215 Tel: +49-211-938-5360 GSM: +49-178-782-6226 +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | TO UNSUBSCRIBE from this list: | http://lists.meer.net/mailman/listinfo/analog-help | | Analog Documentation: http://analog.cx/docs/Readme.html | List archives: http://www.analog.cx/docs/mailing.html#listarchives | Usenet version: news://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.analog.general +------------------------------------------------------------------------
