Analog issues

I have downloaded the latest version of Analog (6.0) and attempted to
install.  
The file unzips, the installer seems to start, there's a glimpsed flash of
the DOS-Command screen, and then nothing.  
I reboot, but Analog 5.1 is still there.  
       What am I doing wrong?
