Pages created with Blogger API not shown in blog menu

The pages created with Blogger API are not shown in blog's menu. I have checked "Pages" widget and found that these pages are unchecked though the option "Automatically add new pages when they are published" is enabled. After I check pages in "Pages" widget they appear in the menu. So, I think that the problem is that the option "Automatically add new pages when they are published" does not work correctly for the pages created with API.
