Pages created with Blogger API are not shown in blog menu

I have checked "Pages" widget and found that the pages added with API are not checked though the option "Automatically add new pages when they are published" is enabled. After I manually check these pages they are shown in blog's menu. So, it turns out that "Automatically add new pages when they are published" option is not correctly applied to the pages added with API.
