Blogger Profile URL to Google+ Badge

Hi blogger developers, i have a website DavaoWebHosting.com and our blog 
section is using blogger / blogspot system (
http://davaowebhosting.blogspot.com) and we are accepting contributors or 
authors by invitation. The blog posts from blogspot system are retrieved 
using Blogger API v3 and synced on the local db.

Currently for each blog post, we are displaying the author's name linked to 
it's blogger profile page. What we wanted to implement right now is to use 
Google+ badges. Currently, when a reader clicks the author's name, it opens 
the author's blogger profile and when the author updated his/her setting to 
connect with Google Plus it automatically redirected to his/her Google+ 
page.

Is there a way we can convert blogger profile url to fetch Google+ badge 
and display the badge on the right hand section (*sidebar*) when viewers 
read the author's article?

i have searched for a documentation and compared the blogger author ID with 
google+ profile ID, they are different so i guess i can't utilize the 
profile ID between Blogger and Google+.

any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
