Can you identify this javascript that is in the head of the simple template?

I would like to know what this script does or why it is included in the 
simple template. When I view the source code of my blog in a web browser, 
the following script shows up within the head tags. I assume it is called by
<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
because when I remove it from the template, the script does not show up in 
the source code.

I have just started working with the blog and template, and I have not 
added anything like Adsense or Analytics. My blog is at  
http://tarynshelford.blogspot.com/.

I know next to nothing about javascript and have searched online using a 
lot of different search terms and I cannot find an explanation for the 
purpose of this script.

I will appreciate your help with this.
