How do you make text in the page body run a longer length on the webpage/equal white space on the left and right sides of the text?

HELP! I've been trying to adjust the width of the text in the "page body"
section of my blog for 2 days with no luck. I tried using the option to
adjust the widths of the columns in the Layout feature, but the text is
only filling about half of the websites' page width.

How do you get texts to fill the width of the page body? I'm having a hard
time here. I've attached pictures below. I want to center the font and make
it run a little longer so that there is not an empty/off-balance white
space on right side of the website.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
