Chi-webbers: As some of you may know, I edit the book reviews column for SIGCHI's magazine, <interactions>. In the past, our best and most useful reviews have come from within our own ranks - from practitioners and academics who can tell us about the value of a new book to their work and interests. To keep new voices on our pages, I'd like to invite you consider submitting a book review to <interactions>. It can be about a recent book that you've read and think our community should hear about, or about a new book that you'd like to read (and in that case, I can arrange to get you a free copy). Typical book reviews are about 1500 words in length; once you have a good stable draft I'll spend a lot of time cooperating with you to form your draft into the final version for the magazine. Please send me mail if you are interested. If you don't know of any books but are interested in writing, also contact me. I have a list of books that I'd love to pair reviewers with.
