problem generating thumbs

Hi all

   Sorry this is probably and easy question.  I have installed cthumb and 
all the required libraries etc on my machine OpenBSD 3.0.  I run cthumb 
and it generates the album file no problem, then when I try to run it 
again to generate everything else i get this

cthumb 4.2, running in /var/www/htdocs/pictures/ophio_river
     generating thumb/100-0005_IMG-thumb.jpg  ...  Empty input file

I tried running it with the -r flag and got the same problem.  I've looked 
over the .album file over and over again to try to figure it out.  Any 
help would be appreciated.
