Creating main index page

Hello,

sorry for that question that is probably really stupid.
I have some directories with photos in it. cthumb works fine in only one
directory with the command cthumb -c <directory>/* > album.file
but how do I create a main index page with links to the different albums
like on http://puchol.com/ips/index.shtml
(sorry for using personal pages)
